Okay, so I e-mailed two teachers I had in elementary school who had written me recommendation letters and nominated me for some awards to say thank-you and to tell them that I had graduated. (Why? Cause I feel like if your a teacher you would wanna hear things like that XD I dunno) I didn't even think they would remember me, but they both replied back with some really inspiring stuffs ;A;
Mr. Corbett was my grade 7 teacher and I was a pretty poor student before and so he and Mdm.Smith really pushed me to try and get into PCVS. He wrote a lot of really inspiring things so I wanted to share them with you guys :'3 His letter made me cry.
"Do not think we ever take your, or any other student's success lightly.
Yours is not just another face. We always remember those who stand alone.
Who show interest and commitment. Who apply themselves to the things
they are passionate about. No passage of time can erase that memory."
I gained a lot of respect for teachers like Corbett after reading this~
"I remember well the day I nominated you for the Ron
Darling Art award, and the day I presented it to you at grad in the Warsaw
Arena... You may not think now that an art award from some small rural
school amounts to much, but there it is, and you are the one that earned
it, no one else. "
Hell I was just glad they remembered me, but they also said some really nice thins about PCVS too~Coincidentally one of the teachers I e-mailed (Madame Smith) had been at my former Highschool (now closed) had been there just yesterday taking pictures:
"It is so funny that I
received this email today because I was just at PCVS yesterday for a
meeting and was taking pictures all day (40 in total) as I was so amazed
at its beauty and so saddened over its loss to the student body. Truly
unfair and a devastating loss to the downtown (I live downtown). I could
almost hear the eery silence of past echoes of kids voices."
So yeah, all I can say is I'm super-inspired to do better all over again :3
So many feels :'D
